Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors about this constant fatigue and stomach pain. Everyone said it was stress. Dr. Durairaj actually listened to everything, even the stuff I thought was silly. He ordered some specific tests others hadn't, and it turned out to be a tricky thyroid issue affecting my gut. He explained it in a way that finally made sense. I'm on treatment now and feel like myself again.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but the whole thing was so straightforward. Dr. Durairaj walked me through each step in the room itself, the procedure was quick, and I was back home the same afternoon. The follow-up was just a quick check, no fuss. Sometimes simple is good.
The hospital itself is nice and calm, which helped a lot. But what really stood out was the team. The nurse at the front desk saw I was anxious and got me sorted quickly. The assistant with Dr. Durairaj was really kind, double-checking I understood the instructions before I left. It felt like everyone was on the same page.
What I liked most about Dr. Durairaj is he doesn't rush you. He sits down, looks at you, and lets you finish talking. I had a million questions about my dad's medication, and he answered each one without making me feel like I was bothering him. He's got a calm way about him that just puts you at ease.
