Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors about this nagging fatigue and stomach pain, and everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Shahida Parveen actually listened. She asked a ton of questions I hadn't been asked before and ordered some specific tests. Turns out it was a tricky vitamin deficiency causing a bunch of secondary issues. I'm on a simple supplement now and feel like myself again. She really dug for the answer when others didn't.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was pretty nervous about the whole thing. The procedure at Apollo was straightforward, though. Dr. Shahida explained each step before she did it, which helped a lot. It was over quickly, and the aftercare instructions were clear. The whole visit felt very routine and calm, which is exactly what you want for something like that.
The hospital itself is nice, but what stood out was the team. From the front desk to the nurses, everyone was really kind. I had to wait a bit past my appointment time, but the receptionist kept me updated, which I appreciated. One nurse even noticed I looked a bit lost finding the lab and walked me there. It's those little things that make a difference when you're not feeling great.
What I liked most about Dr. Shahida was how she talked to me. No rushing, no complicated medical jargon thrown at me. She sat down, looked me in the eye, and explained things in a way I could actually understand. She has a very calm, reassuring way about her. It made a scary situation feel manageable.
