Patient Experience
Had my gallbladder out last week. Was really scared about the pain afterwards. Dr. Medhekar explained exactly what to expect and the meds he prescribed actually worked. Still sore, but I'm moving around okay. The nurses at Lilavati were great too.
My dad was admitted with a bad stomach infection. Dr. Medhekar was the one who called me directly after the first tests came in. He didn't sugarcoat it, but he explained everything in a way we could understand and answered all our panicked questions. He made a scary time feel manageable for our whole family.
Look, I don't like doctors. But Dr. Medhekar is straight to the point. I came in with a weird pain, he checked me over, ordered the right scan, and fixed the issue. No fuss, no unnecessary talking. Got the job done at Lilavati. Parking there is a nightmare though.
It started as just feeling tired all the time. I'd seen a couple of doctors who brushed it off. At Lilavati, Dr. Medhekar actually listened. He asked a ton of questions, even some that seemed random. He pieced it together as a vitamin deficiency and a minor thyroid thing. The treatment was simple, but getting someone to really dig for the cause made all the difference. I've got my energy back now.
