Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors for this persistent stomach pain and fatigue, and everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Sharif was different. He actually listened to everything, asked a lot of questions I hadn't been asked before, and ordered some specific tests. Turns out it was a tricky gallbladder issue that wasn't showing up on the standard scans. He explained it all in a way that finally made sense. I'm just relieved someone figured it out.
Needed to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Sharif made the whole thing feel very straightforward. The procedure itself was quick, and he talked me through each step so I knew what was happening. Recovery was exactly as he said it would beno surprises. It was one of those medical things you dread, but it ended up being totally fine.
The hospital itself is nice and clean, which helps when you're not feeling great. But what really stood out was the front desk team and the nurses. I was confused about my insurance paperwork, and the lady at reception walked me through it without making me feel silly. The nurse who took my vitals was really kind and chatted with me to keep my mind off things. It made the wait much easier.
What I liked most about Dr. Sharif is that he doesn't rush you. He sits down, looks at you, and lets you finish talking. I had a lot of worries about some new medication, and he took the time to address each one without making me feel like I was asking stupid questions. He has a calm way about him that just makes you feel heard and a bit less anxious.
