Patient Experience
Had my gallbladder out last month. The surgery itself went fine, but the first few days after were rough. Dr. Rai and his team were really on it with the pain meds, checking in and adjusting things so I could actually get some rest. He was straight with me about what to expect, which helped a lot when I was feeling miserable. Still recovering, but it's getting better each week.
Our 8-year-old, Arjun, had a high fever that wouldn't break and terrible stomach pain. We were terrified. Dr. Rai saw us at Lilavati and just had this calm way about him. He explained everything to us AND to Arjun in a way a kid could understand, which made Arjun less scared. He figured out it was a bad infection and got him on the right treatment. Seeing our boy smile again after two days... that's everything. Dr. Rai felt like a partner getting us through it.
Went to Dr. Rai for a weird pain in my side. No nonsense, got right to the point. Ordered the right tests, explained the results clearly, fixed me up. Parking at Lilavati was a nightmare, but the doc was efficient. Good experience.
I'd been putting off seeing someone about this nagging fatigue for months, just blaming work. Finally booked with Dr. Jatin Rai. The clinic was busy, I waited a bit, but once I was in, he didn't rush. He asked questions I hadn't even thought to mentionabout my sleep, my stress levels, things I'd written off as normal. He connected dots I didn't see. Sent me for some bloodwork, called me himself with the results (low vitamin D and a thyroid thing, of all things). Started treatment, and honestly, I feel like a different person six weeks later. He listened to the whole story, not just the headline.
