Patient Experience
The hospital itself is nice and clean, but what stood out was the nurse at the front desk. I was confused about my insurance paperwork, and she walked me through it without making me feel rushed, even though there was a line. It's that kind of help that takes a load off your mind when you're already worried about seeing a doctor.
What I really liked about Dr. Rushab was how he talked to me, not at me. He has this calm way about him. When he came in, he sat down, didn't just hover by the door. He asked about my work and how the problem was affecting my day-to-day, not just the medical symptoms. Felt like he actually saw me as a person.
I'd been to a couple of doctors for this nagging stomach pain, everyone said it was just acidity. Dr. Rushab actually listened, asked a bunch of questions I hadn't been asked before, and ordered a specific scan. Turned out it was a small, tricky hernia that everyone else missed. He explained it all with a diagram on his notepadmade it so clear. Finally got the right surgery and I feel like myself again.
Needed to get a cyst removed from my back. Honestly, I was pretty nervous about the whole thing. Dr. Rushab and his team at Medicover made it really straightforward. The procedure itself was quick, and they told me what to expect at every step. Parking was a bit of a hassle that day, but the actual experience was smooth. Healing up just fine now.
