Patient Experience
I'd been to three other doctors for this weird fatigue and joint pain. Everyone said it was stress. Dr. Pathrikar actually listened, asked a ton of questions I hadn't been asked before, and ordered some specific tests. Turns out it was something pretty rare. He explained it all to me with a diagram on his notepaddidn't rush at all. I finally feel like I'm getting somewhere.
Had to get a cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Pathrikar made it sound so straightforward. The whole thing was over in what felt like minutes. The stitches were neat, recovery was exactly as he said it would be, and the scar is barely there now. It was just a simple thing, but he treated it with real care.
Lilavati is a big place, and the parking was a nightmare that day. But once I got inside, the front desk people were really kind and got me sorted quickly. The nurse who took my vitals had a lovely, calming way about her. It made a stressful morning much easier. Dr. Pathrikar's clinic itself felt organized and clean, which helped.
What I remember most is how he talked to my elderly mother. She was scared and confused. Dr. Pathrikar pulled up a chair, sat right next to her, and explained everything in Marathi, which is her comfort language. He didn't just look at me, the son, for answers. He made her feel seen and respected. That meant the world to us.
