Patient Experience
I'd been to a few doctors about this nagging fatigue and weird joint pain. Everyone said it was stress or getting older. Dr. Irtaza actually listened to the whole, messy story. He ordered a specific blood test the others hadn't, and it turned out to be something pretty rare. He sat with me and my wife, drew diagrams on a notepad to explain it all. I finally had a name for what was wrong, and a plan. That was a huge relief.
Needed my gallbladder out. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Irtaza made it sound straightforward. The day of, everything just... happened. The team knew what they were doing, the surgery was quick, and I was home the next afternoon. Recovery was exactly how he said it would be. Sometimes simple and smooth is exactly what you need.
The parking at Apollo was a nightmare that day, completely full. I was flustered by the time I got to the clinic. But the lady at the front desk was really kind, found my file fast, and the nurse who took my vitals had a calming way about her. The whole place felt efficient but not cold. It made a long wait much easier to handle.
What I remember most is how Dr. Irtaza talks to you. He doesn't rush. He'll ask about your work or family while he's checking your chart. When I told him I was scared about the medication side effects, he didn't dismiss it. He said, 'Let's talk about what's scaring you,' and we figured out a different option together. Felt like I was talking to a very smart, very patient friend.
