Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors for this nagging pain and fatigue, and everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Sumit Bose actually listened. He asked questions no one else had, ordered some specific tests, and figured out it was a thyroid issue that was mimicking other problems. It wasn't a quick fix, but having a real answer changed everything. He took the time to explain it all on a follow-up call, which I really appreciated.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Bose made it feel like no big deal. The whole thing was over in what felt like twenty minutes. He talked me through each step, the local anesthetic worked perfectly, and I was back home with simple instructions by lunch. Sometimes you just want something straightforward done well, and that's exactly what happened.
The Apollo facility is impressive, I won't lie, though finding a parking spot was a mission. What stood out, though, was how the whole team worked together. From the front desk person who helped me reschedule when I was running late, to the nurse who saw I was anxious and cracked a joke to lighten the mood. Dr. Bose's clinic felt organized, and that calm environment really helps when you're not feeling your best.
My teenage son had to see him, and he can be a real clam in doctor's offices. Dr. Bose didn't talk down to him. He asked him questions directly, explained things in a way a 16-year-old could get, and even got a smile out of him. That meant more to me than any medical jargon. You can tell he genuinely sees the person, not just the chart.
