Patient Experience
I'd been to three other doctors about this constant fatigue and weird joint pain. They all said it was stress. Dr. Snigdha Shiv Kumar actually listened, asked a ton of questions I hadn't been asked before, and ordered some specific tests. Turns out it was something pretty rare. She explained it to me in my living room, using a notepad to draw it out. I'm on treatment now and finally starting to feel like myself. She didn't just give up.
Had to get a minor cyst removed. Honestly, I was more nervous about the hospital experience than the actual thing. At Apollo Noida, the whole process was straightforward. Dr. Kumar's team had all the paperwork ready, the nurse who prepped me was really calming, and the procedure itself was over before I knew it. Follow-up was a quick video call. It was just... easy. No drama, which is exactly what you want.
The waiting area at Apollo was packed, I'll be honest. But once I got in to see Dr. Kumar, she made the time feel full. What really stood out, though, was her assistant, Rohan. I was confused about the new insurance portal, and he sat with me for ten minutes after my appointment, walking me through it on his own tablet. It's those little things. The doctor is great, but when the whole team has that helpful attitude, it makes a difference.
Look, I'm a bad patient. I hate hospitals and I get snippy when I'm scared. When I came in with a bad fever, I was probably not very polite. Dr. Kumar didn't react to my mood at all. She was just quietly professional, clear with her questions, and when she explained what was going on, she did it without any condescension. She has a very calm way about her that sort of forces you to calm down too. It's a skill.
