Patient Experience
My 8-year-old son had a high fever that wouldn't break, and I was terrified. Dr. Kulkarni at Apollo saw us right away, even though it was late. He didn't just talk to me; he got down on my son's level, explained everything in a way a kid could understand, and made him laugh. The follow-up call the next day to check on him meant more than he probably knows. We felt genuinely cared for, not just treated.
Had my gallbladder out last month. The surgery itself is a blur, but the recovery is what sticks with me. Dr. Kulkarni was really clear about what pain to expect and what was a red flag. He adjusted my meds a couple times over the phone to get it right without overdoing it. The incision site got a little red, and he had me come in immediately to check it—turned out fine, but I appreciated the caution. I'm back to walking the dog now, slowly but surely.
Needed a general check-up and got Dr. Kulkarni. Straight to the point, answered my questions without any fluff. Explained my bloodwork results clearly. Parking at Apollo was a nightmare, but the appointment itself was efficient. Would see him again.
It started with this dull ache in my side that just wouldn't quit. I put it off for weeks, thinking it was just stress. Finally went to Apollo and got Dr. Kulkarni. He listened to my whole rambling story, asked a bunch of questions I hadn't even thought about (what I ate, when it flared up). Sent me for a scan, and when the results came back, he sat with me and drew a little diagram on the paper towel to show what was going on with my gut. It wasn't anything major, just needed some diet changes and meds, but the way he took the time to make me *understand* made all the difference. Felt like he solved a mystery with me, not for me.
