Patient Experience
Had my gallbladder out last Tuesday. The first couple days were rough, I won't lie. But Dr. Chavan's team had a clear plan for the pain. She checked on me every morning, adjusted my meds based on how I was actually feeling, not just a chart. It wasn't just pills; she showed me how to move to avoid pulling the stitches. I'm home now, moving slow but getting better each day. The follow-up call from her nurse yesterday was a nice touch.
Appendicitis. Went to Apollo. Saw Dr. Dipali Chavan. Explained the situation clearly. Surgery was needed. She did it. Stayed two nights. Staff was efficient. Pain was managed. Discharged with instructions. Follow-up scheduled. Everything is fine now.
I was quite anxious about my procedure. Dr. Chavan has a very calm way about her. She listened to all my worries before we even talked about the surgery. Afterwards, when I was in pain, her voice was always so gentle, explaining what was normal. It made a difficult time much easier to bear. The hospital was busy, but she never made me feel rushed.
Wow, what a relief! I'd been putting off this hernia repair for ages, scared of the whole hospital thing. Dr. Chavan was fantastic—straight talk, no sugar-coating, but also made me feel totally confident. The surgery itself was smooth, and I was back on my feet way quicker than I thought. The parking garage was a nightmare, but honestly, worth it. So glad I finally went through with it!
