Patient Experience
I'd been to a few doctors about this constant fatigue and stomach pain, and everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Burute actually listened. He asked questions no one else had, ordered some specific tests, and figured out it was a tricky thyroid issue combined with a food intolerance. He explained it all on a notepad, drawing little diagrams. I finally feel like I'm getting better, not just being managed.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous about any kind of surgery, even a minor one. Dr. Burute was so calm about it. The whole thing at Medicover was quick – in and out in a few hours. He checked on me right after, and the stitches healed perfectly. It was just a simple thing, but he made it feel like no big deal, which is exactly what I needed.
The hospital itself was nice and clean, which helped. But what really stood out was the team. The front desk lady helped me find my papers when I got flustered, and the nurse who took my vitals was really kind, cracking a small joke to settle my nerves. It felt like everyone, from the reception to Dr. Burute, was actually on the same page about helping patients.
What I remember most is how he talks to you. I'm an older patient, and sometimes doctors rush. Dr. Burute sat down, looked me in the eye, and just had a normal conversation about my knee pain. He didn't use confusing medical jargon. He asked about my daily life, how it was affecting me. Felt like I was talking to a very knowledgeable friend who genuinely cared.
