Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors about this nagging fatigue and stomach issue, and everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Thilagavathy actually listened to every little symptom I mentioned, even the ones I thought were silly. She ordered some specific tests others hadn't, and it turned out to be a thyroid problem that was messing with everything. She explained it all with a diagram on her notepad—made it so clear. I'm on treatment now and finally starting to feel like myself.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Thilagavathy made it feel like no big deal. The whole thing at Apollo was over in a morning. She talked me through each step as she did it, which really kept me calm. The cut is tiny, healed up perfectly. It was just a routine thing for her, I guess, but she still treated it with real care.
The parking at Apollo was packed the day of my appointment, which got me a bit flustered. But from the front desk to the nurses, everyone was so helpful in getting me checked in. The clinic area itself was quiet and clean, which helped settle my nerves. When Dr. Thilagavathy came in, she was completely focused, but you could tell her team worked well together. It just felt like a smooth operation.
What I'll remember most is how Dr. Thilagavathy talked to my elderly mother. Mom gets confused easily and is scared of hospitals. The doctor didn't rush her. She sat down, held her hand, and explained things in such a simple, kind way. She looked at me to make sure I understood too, but she always spoke directly to Mom. That respect meant the world to us. You don't find that everywhere.
