Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors for this nagging fatigue and stomach pain, and everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Abhilash was different. He actually sat and listened, then asked questions about things no one else had. He ordered a specific test the others hadn't thought of, and it turned out to be a tricky thyroid issue combined with a mild ulcer. He explained it all on a notepad, drawing little diagrams. I finally felt like someone had put the puzzle together.
Had to get a small cyst removed from my back. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Abhilash made it so straightforward. The whole thing took maybe twenty minutes in his procedure room at Medicover. He talked me through each step, and the local anesthetic worked perfectlyfelt just a little pressure. I was in and out, and the follow-up was just a quick check. It was exactly what you hope for with something routine: no drama, just done right.
The parking lot at Medicover was packed when I went for my dad's check-up, which had me a bit flustered. But from the front desk to the nurses, everyone was really calm and helpful. They found my dad a seat quickly and kept us updated on the slight delay. The place itself feels clean and quiet, which helps when you're waiting. It made the whole visit less stressful than it could have been.
What really stays with me is how Dr. Abhilash talks to you. I'm not great with medical terms, and I get anxious. He never rushed me. He'd explain something, then stop and ask, 'Does that make sense? Should I go over that again?' It felt like a conversation, not a lecture. When I had a silly question, he didn't make me feel silly for asking. That kind of patience is rare.
