Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors for this nagging pain and fatigue, and everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Niranjan was different. He actually sat and listened, asked questions I hadn't been asked before, and ordered some specific tests others hadn't. Turns out it was a thyroid issue that was flying under the radar. He explained it all on a notepad, drawing little diagrams. Felt like someone finally put the puzzle together.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was more nervous about the hospital process than the actual thing. Dr. Niranjan's team made it so straightforward. The procedure itself was quick, he checked in right after, and the nurse gave me very clear instructions for the bandage. It was one of those things you dread, but it ended up being a total non-event. Healed up perfectly.
The Apollo facility in Arilova is huge, and I got a bit turned around finding the clinic. One of the staff at the information desk saw me looking lost and walked me all the way to the right waiting area. The place was busy, but it felt calm. Even when the doctor was running a little behind, a nurse came out to let us know. Small things, but they make a difference when you're not feeling great.
What stuck with me was how Dr. Niranjan talks to you. I'm not great with medical jargon, and he must have seen my eyes glaze over. He stopped, smiled, and said, 'Let me try that again in plain English.' He didn't rush, even though I'm sure he had a full schedule. He has this calm way about him that just makes you feel like you're in good hands, no drama.
