Patient Experience
I'd been to a couple of doctors for this nagging stomach pain and fatigue, and everyone just said it was stress. Dr. Matchetti was different. She actually sat and listened, asked questions about things no one else had, and ordered some specific tests. Turns out it was a tricky thyroid issue masquerading as something else. She explained it all on a notepad, drew little diagrams. I finally felt like someone had found the right puzzle piece.
Had to get a small cyst removed. Honestly, I was nervous at first, but Dr. Matchetti made it feel like no big deal. The whole thing at Medicover was over in what felt like twenty minutes. She talked me through each step as she was doing it, which really kept my mind off things. It healed up perfectly, just like she said it would. Sometimes simple things done right are what you need most.
The clinic was busy that morning, I had to wait a bit, but you know what? It didn't feel frustrating. The lady at the front desk remembered my name from my last visit, and the nurse who took my vitals was really kind, asking about my family. The place at Medicover just feels calm and clean. It sounds silly, but that kind of environment makes you feel a bit better even before you see the doctor.
What I remember most is how Dr. Matchetti talks to you. I'm an older patient, and sometimes doctors rush. She doesn't. She pulls her chair up, looks you in the eye, and you can tell she's really hearing you. When I was worried about some new medication, she didn't dismiss it; she took the time to explain why she thought it was the best choice, in a way that made sense. You leave feeling respected, not just treated.
