Olivia Johnson, a 32-year-old elementary school...
Olivia Johnson, a 32-year-old elementary school teacher, had a routine Pap smear that showed abnormal cells (ASC-H). She had no symptoms, but her mother had a history of cervical dysplasia. Her OB-GYN, Dr. Lee, recommended a colposcopy to get a closer look at the cervix and take biopsies if needed. Olivia was anxious but appreciated Dr. Lee's calm explanation. During the procedure, she felt mild cramping and pressure. A small biopsy was taken. Results a week later showed CIN 1 (low-grade changes), which her body would likely clear on its own. She was advised to return for a Pap in 6 months. Olivia felt immense relief after the procedure, shifting from fear of cancer to feeling proactive and in control of her health.
