Assoc. Prof. M.D. Selim Aydin

Assoc. Prof. Selim Aydin is a cardiovascular surgeon with extensive clinical, academic, and industry experience. He completed specialized cardiovascular surgery training at M.D. Siyami Ersek Chest, Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital in 2012. Currently affiliated with Acibadem Health Group since 2025, he combines patient care with research and leadership roles in the field. He is an active member of the European Association for Cardiothoracic Surgery (EACTS) and the European Society for Vascular Surgery (ESVS). He serves on the scientific and consultancy boards of major medical device companies, including Boston Scientific and Medtronic. Domestically, he contributes as a Board Member of the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery and as a member of the Endograft Scientific Committee at the Turkish Institutes of Health (TÜSEB). His work focuses on advancing cardiovascular and vascular surgery through clinical excellence, collaborative research, and engagement with both professional societies and industry partners. This unique position allows him to integrate the very latest technologies and techniques into his practice for complex heart and vascular conditions.
