Dr. Koka Ram Babu

I'd been to a couple of doctors for this nagging fatigue and pain, and everyone had a different theory. Honestly, I was starting to think it was all in my head. Dr. Koka Ram Babu listened to the whole confusing history, asked some really specific questions I hadn't been asked before, and ordered one particular test. Turns out it was a rare autoimmune thing. He explained it in plain terms, didn't rush me, and laid out a clear plan. I finally feel like I'm getting somewhere.

Had to get a colonoscopy, which nobody looks forward to. The prep was the worst part, as expected. On the day, at Apollo, things moved along fine. Dr. Babu was quick and efficient during the procedure itself—I was in and out before I knew it. Got the all-clear later, which was a huge relief. It was just a routine check, but it's good to have it done and over with by someone who knows what they're doing.

The Apollo Health City campus is huge; I got a bit lost finding the right building. Once I got to the clinic, though, the front desk lady saw I was flustered and helped me out with a smile. The whole place felt calm and clean, which helped settle my nerves. Even the nurse who took my vitals was really gentle and chatted with me to pass the time. It made the whole visit less stressful.

What I really liked about Dr. Babu was how normal he made me feel. I was nervous at first, but he just sat and talked with me like a person, not just a chart. He cracked a small joke about my hometown, which was unexpected. When he explained my treatment, he checked a few times to make sure I understood, and he didn't seem annoyed by my questions. You can tell he actually cares about how you're feeling.
