Dr. Varit Sirimongkolpavong

I'd had this nagging pain in my jaw for months, and two other dentists just told me it was a cavity. She was so calm, got me checked in quickly with a smile, and even remembered to ask if I needed a receipt for my insurance before I left. The dental assistant was also really kind, making small talk while setting things up. It made a potentially stressful errand feel manageable.

I have a real fear of dentists, like, sweating-bullets fear. My first visit with Dr. Varit, I probably didn't say two words. He noticed and just started talking me through every single step before he did it—'okay, you'll feel some water now,' 'this might feel cold for a second.' He never got impatient, even when I asked him to stop once. He just waited. I've never had a dentist who seemed to actually care that I was scared, not just annoyed by it.
