Dr. Ubal Dhus

I'd been to a couple of doctors about this nagging fatigue and weird joint pain. They said it was stress or maybe just getting older. Dr. Dhus was the first one who actually seemed curious about it. He asked a ton of questions I hadn't been asked before, ordered some specific tests I'd never heard of, and it turned out to be something pretty rare. He explained it all with a whiteboard in his office, drawing little diagrams. I finally had a name for what was wrong, and a plan. That was a huge relief.

Needed my gallbladder out. Honestly, I was nervous at first—surgery is surgery. But Dr. Dhus walked me through the whole laparoscopic thing, made it sound straightforward. The day of, everything just... happened. The team was efficient, the procedure was quick, and I was home the next afternoon. Recovery was exactly as he said it would be. No drama, no surprises, just a fixed problem. Sometimes boring is good.

The Apollo waiting area was packed, I won't lie. But the nurses at Dr. Dhus's station were really on the ball. They kept things moving, remembered my name when I came back from tests, and one of them even found me an extra pillow when I looked uncomfortable. The place runs smoothly because of them. Dr. Dhus is great, but his team makes the whole experience less stressful.

What I liked about Dr. Dhus is he doesn't talk at you, he talks with you. He sits down, makes eye contact, and actually waits for you to finish your sentence. I had a million questions about some medication side effects, and he just went through them one by one without making me feel rushed or silly. He's got a calm way about him that just makes you feel heard. That matters more than anything when you're worried.
