Dr. KK Handa K

Dr. KK Handa is a renowned ENT specialist with over 26 years of extensive clinical experience in ear, nose, throat, and head & neck surgery. Currently serving as the Chairman of the ENT and Head & Neck Surgery Department at Medanta – The Medicity, he is recognized for his contributions to advancing surgical techniques in the field, especially in voice, sinus, and skull base disorders.

Prior to joining Medanta, Dr. Handa was an Associate Professor in the Department of ENT at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, where he served from 1996 to 2009. His clinical expertise spans across laser surgery, robotic-assisted ENT procedures, endoscopic sinus surgery, otology, cochlear implantation, and sleep apnea management.

Internationally trained, Dr. Handa completed a prestigious fellowship in Lasers and Laryngology at the Royal Infirmary, Glasgow, UK. He is widely regarded for his contributions to voice surgery and has played a pioneering role in phonosurgery in India. He currently serves as the President and was the founding Secretary of the Association of Phonosurgeons of India.

Beyond his clinical role, Dr. Handa is actively involved in academic and professional societies. He holds key positions in organizations such as the Neurotological and Equilibrium Society of India, Indian Society of Otology, Indian Society of Rhinology, and the Foundation of Head and Neck Oncology.
