Dr. R.R. Kasliwal is a distinguished cardiologist with over three decades of impactful service in cardiovascular medicine. As Chairman of Clinical and Preventive Cardiology, Community Outreach, and Education at Medanta – The Medicity in Gurgaon, he is recognized for revolutionizing heart health in India through a preventive approach and public awareness initiatives.

An esteemed recipient of the Dr. B.C. Roy National Award, Dr. Kasliwal has dedicated his career to advancing early diagnosis and non-invasive strategies for managing heart disease. His pioneering work in community outreach has made cardiac care more accessible, especially to underserved populations across India. He has conducted numerous rural health camps, bringing diagnostic and treatment services directly to the public.

Dr. Kasliwal has authored and guest-edited several authoritative cardiology texts and has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles. He has also mentored countless physicians, both domestically and internationally, shaping the future of cardiac care. Prior to his role at Medanta, he held key positions including Director of Cardiology at the Escorts Heart Institute and Senior Cardiologist at the National Heart Institute in New Delhi.

A D.M. (Cardiology) graduate from AIIMS, New Delhi, he has received over 150 accolades throughout his career, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the President of India in 2008 and the DMA Distinguished Service Award. His leadership roles span several prestigious medical bodies, such as the Indian Society of Medical Fitness (President), Indian Society of Echocardiography (Vice President), and memberships with the American Society of Echocardiography, Cardiological Society of India, and National Academy of Medical Sciences.
