MediFyr publishes information about doctors, hospitals and medical procedures to help patients in India make informed care decisions. Because this is health information (Your Money or Your Life content), we hold it to a high standard of accuracy, transparency and accountability. This page explains how that content is created, reviewed and kept up to date.
Who We Are
MediFyr is a healthcare discovery and appointment platform. Our content is produced by an in-house editorial team working alongside a medical review group of qualified clinicians and verified healthcare partners. We are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment — always consult a registered doctor for your specific condition.
How We Source Content
- Doctor profiles are built from credentials supplied by the doctor or partner hospital and verified against the National Medical Commission's Indian Medical Register, registration certificates, or partner-hospital confirmation. Profiles that cannot be verified are labelled as such.
- Hospital profiles are compiled from the facility's own disclosures, accreditation bodies (e.g. NABH, JCI) and publicly available records.
- Procedure information — including indications, preparation, recovery and indicative costs — is drafted from recognised clinical references and partner-hospital data, then checked by our medical review group before publishing.
Our Review Process
Medical content is reviewed for clinical accuracy and clarity before it goes live. Cost and availability data are refreshed on an ongoing basis from partner hospitals. Every profile and procedure page shows a "last updated" date so you know how current the information is. If clinical guidance changes, we revise the affected content.
Use of AI
We may use AI tools to assist with drafting, structuring and summarising content. AI is never the final authority on medical information: clinically sensitive content is reviewed by a human medical reviewer before publication, and indicative figures (such as cost estimates) are clearly marked as estimates, not quotes.
Patient Reviews
Patient reviews are published only after the reviewer provides proof of visit (a prescription or invoice), which is verified with the hospital and never shown publicly. This keeps ratings and testimonials trustworthy. See our Trust & Methodology page for how scores are calculated.
Corrections
If you find an error or want to report a discrepancy in a doctor or hospital profile, email support@medifyr.com. We investigate every report and update or remove inaccurate content.
